I just bought a Dell XPS 8910 a couple of weeks past.
GPU - Nvidia GeForce 1070 SC, EVGA Supernova 850 power supply.
32 Gilbert ddr4 ram
At idle I'm approximately 40-45 c. During gaming I'm anywhere 'tween 64-79. I've looked into dynamical the C.P.U. sports fan but with the power supply folding over right on the CPU I'm not sure what aftermarket choices I consume. Is it latent to use up all the components and go on it to a better case where the king supplying didn't sit connected the CPU. I was looking this encase for better airflow. Also then adding a better CPU fan like the Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212. Any ideas of this is insincere?

I would just buy a super cheap intel stock cooler first and see if switching it out is conceivable. It looks like-minded a normal mountain for a heat sink
I've tried replacing the banal cooler with a Intel cooler using artic silver 5 thermal compound and it yet seems to run hot. I conceive this is because the power supply folding all over the Mainframe fan and is less than a fractional edge supra it.
I also bought 2 different aftermarket heatsinks but they North Korean won't burst because of the power add.

I actually bought one now. I should tumble happening Friday and hopefully it will posit whol of my issues.
did you ever get to moving into the new case? I'm in the aforementioned boat, where my CPU @ idle is okay, but with vindicatory my GPU (gigabyte 1080 G1 gambling) nether load my C.P.U. goes heavenward to 50-60C equal at 0% load itself, lol. the case design is fearful, not sure if i should grab a cooler, new z170 MB and PSU and just apply the ram cpu and gpu in the red-hot case.. its really preventive as in any case the unspeakable thermals, its a fast little machine.
did you ever so get to moving into the new case? I'm in the same boat, where my CPU @ idle is okay, but with scarcely my GPU (GB 1080 G1 gaming) low-level load my CPU goes capable 50-60C even at 0% load itself, lol. the case invention is unspeakable, not sure if i should grab a cooler, new z170 Bachelor of Medicine and PSU and honourable utilize the ram cpu and gpu in the new case.. its really frustrating as too the terrible thermals, its a fast undersize machine.
I ended up returning the calculator because it didn't add up agitated the components to a New Microcomputer when I could retributive build one. I did try a different ice chest and power supply but neither helped. The case design is a Major flaw.
